Star Watching

Star watching is a favorite activity among people in the world, of all cultures.

Here's what you need:

  • A location with a dark sky to see the zodiacal light, someplace where city lights aren’t obscuring the natural lights in the sky.
  • Binoculuars, small telecopes, and larger telescopes make the experience better.
  • Get a map of the stars! You can find one at  and print it out. Look at the stars and you'll be able to match the stars up
  • Bug Spray or anti-mosquito candles are very useful
  • A Blanket

Now that your all ready, you can see magnificent stars as well as these other things:

  • Comets
  • Planets
  • Constellations
  • Satellites
